Why ​THAT STUFF?
Without proper aftercare, a new tattoo can become infected or damaged. It is critical that healing (re-epithelialisation) begins as soon as possible to prevent the surface of the skin forming a crust or scab as this reduces the risk of scarring. ​Using plant-based waxes, THAT STUFF creates a protective layer on the surface of the skin, providing an effective film against which re-epithelialisation can start.

Our soothing balm is a blend of all natural ingredients and free of any mineral oils.
Since there are no chemical ingredients such as emulsifiers, THAT STUFF is gentle enough to be used directly onto open skin without any stinging sensation, even though it contains mildly antiseptic botanical extracts.

  • Prunis dulcis seed extract (almond oil) – a skin softening ingredient
  • Vitis vinifera seed extract (grapeseed oil) – anti-oxidant and a skin softening ingredient
  • Cera alba natural wax (unbleached beeswax) – thickens formula and forms a film on skin
  • Copernica prunifera plant wax  (plant derived carnauba wax) – forms a film on skin for protection
  • Melaleuca alternifolia (leaf) extract (tea tree oil) – mildly antiseptic
  • Eucalyptus globulus extract (eucalyptus oil) – very low concentration for an anti-inflammatory effect
  • Chamomile (German) leaf extract (chamomile oil) – provides a soothing effect
  • Tocopheryl acetate (natural vitamin E) - a natural way of preventing rancidity of the plant oils and gives
